Anagrams

Privacy Policy

Last updated 15 September 2026

The short version

Anagrams never asks for your name, email or contacts. Your scores, stats and settings stay on your device. On iPhone and iPad, ads are shown by Google AdMob, which collects some device data to serve them. On the Mac there are no ads and nothing is collected.

Who is responsible

Anagrams is published by CUONG VUONG, who is responsible for the information described here. Contact: cuongv88@gmail.com.

What stays on your device

Your best score, stats, settings, daily puzzle progress and streak are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us, and deleting the app deletes them.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, your Classic scores are posted to Apple's leaderboard under your Game Center profile. Apple handles that information under its own privacy policy.

Purchases

Remove Ads is sold through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details.

Advertising on iPhone and iPad

Anagrams shows ads from Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking when asked), your IP address and approximate location, information about your device, and how you interact with ads. If you decline tracking you still see ads, but they are not personalised.

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form asks for your choices first, and you can change them any time in Settings, under Ad privacy choices. Buying Remove Ads stops the ad SDK from starting at all.

Google's practices are described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

On the Mac

The Mac version has no ads, no tracking and no data collection.

What we do not do

No analytics, no accounts, no selling of personal information. We do not collect any personal information ourselves.

Children

Anagrams is a general audience word game and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear here and in the app with a new date.
